The second division of Mr. Porteous’s annual report is “ Development of special evangelistic work.” Undbr this head ing Mr. Porteoui writes: “ Now here is some news that I think will interest you all. In lfiy letter last March I spoke of the first Kiangsi Evangelistic Party having begun work in our district. The party consists of twelve men and a leader. These bands work under the auspices of the Bible Institute of Los Angeles and are now known as the Biola Evangelistic Bands. There are Six of these bands, five in Hunan and one in our district in Kiangsi, and they work under the immediate direction of the Hunan Bible Institute (China De partment of the Bible Institute of Los Angeles). Band No'. 6 is made up of six of our local men and seven men from the Hunan Bible Institute. These men carry the Gospel from house to house wherever they go. They have already worked seven centers including two walled cities, and the following is the
