EUROASIA competition hosted by the Gibden Scholars Summer Music Camp
We’re delighted to be working in partnership with the Euroasia Association of performing arts who will be hosting their UK preliminary round as a part of our Summer camps. All of the students on our course will have the opportunity to compete on each of their instruments in the appropriate competition class. Gold prize winners from the preliminary rounds, which are held around the world, will advance to the Final Round in December 2026, held in Kuala Lumpur, where they will have the opportunity to gain greater recognition and elevate their presence within the arts community.
The Euroasia Association of Performing Arts is an independent, self-funded non-profit organization under the Royal Patronage of Y.A.M. Tunku Zain Al-’Abidin ibni Tuanku Muhriz. Committed to nurturing and celebrating musical talent, they provide invaluable performance opportunities that are essential to artistic growth.
Performance is a defining element of a musician’s journey. The competitions are designed not merely to rank musicians but to cultivate an inclusive platform where young artists can share their passion, engage in meaningful artistic exchange, and perform for a wider audience. What began as a national initiative in Malaysia has expanded across Thailand, Hong Kong, and Indonesia, welcoming both online and live performances. These competitions culminate in a prestigious Final Round in Malaysia, offering musicians from diverse backgrounds the opportunity to showcase their artistry, creativity, and excellence. Over the past decade, they have gained recognition as premier events, inspiring a new generation of musicians to excel on both regional and international stages.
