Well, we have come to the end of another season and it seemed to be a busy one. I hope you enjoyed the schedule of events and had a chance to attend as many as you could. I would like to thank the many volunteers that help put everything together, from folding napkins to cooking our meals. I cannot find the words to thank them enough. I would also thank all the committee members that work equally as hard with little recognition. It takes many to make this resort what it is, from golf marshals to the Board of Directors ; these are volunteers that complete their tasks on their own time. Sometimes I think we forget that. Completing my twelfth year this season, I think of the literally hundreds and perhaps thousands of people that have lifted a hand to help. I am so grateful to all of them and I wish I could once again thank those that have moved on from the resort. Sometime during the 2017-2018 season I will be leaving my position as your Activities Director and handing the baton to another. No goodbye is necessary yet because I will be back in the fall to work with my replacement. And once again I will share with you this wonderful resort which we all refer to as paradise.
