Andrew Stilwell Bartholomews - Technical Director Andrew has been involved in Agriculture his entire life. This life long affair began in his early teens in the practical side of the industry working on a local mixed farm at weekends and school holidays and eventually after a few other farming jobs led to the start of his Bartholomews career in 2005. He describes the experience in the field and skills he learned from the many great characters met along the way as still being a great help to him to this day in his current role as an Agronomist and technical director for the business. As well as his day job as an Agronomist, Andrew is also responsible for the research and development programme for the company, creating the protocols and working closely with key colleagues and contractors to execute an increasingly large and complex programme on multiple crops encompassing soil health, crop nutrition and crop protection with the single minded objective of introducing new ideas and products to the industry that are adaptable at field scale as soon as possible. “As an industry I believe we are all unsung heroes, although often criticised when all we are trying to do is feed people. Being given the opportunity to truly make a difference is something that we should all take with both hands” Vivienne Harri s Agricultural manager - M&S Vivienne is from a livestock farming background in South Wales, graduating from Harper Adams in 2005 with a BSc Hons (1st class) in Agri-food production with marketing and management and following that she went on to undertake an MSc in Meat Science at Bristol University in 2006. She has spent the last 18 years working in the Agri-food supply chain – Vivienne undertook her placement year at 2SFG and since then has held roles at PD Hook, Randall Parker Foods, ABP and Map Of Ag in Agriculture, Technical and Commercial positions before joining M&S 18 months ago where she is Agriculture Manager for Poultry and also takes a lead on Innovation and feed for the Agriculture team. Julio Bonet Gigante Global Agronomy Manager - Fertiberia Julio is an experienced Global Agronomy Manager at Grupo Fertiberia, based in Madrid, Spain, with a strong background in agronomy, foreign languages, agroindustry, biochemistry, and plant physiology. His expertise spans various roles such as Chief Technology Officer at LEULEU, where he supervised scientific efforts in space disinfection during pandemics and served as an environmental advisor. Prior to that, he managed abiotic stress and product development at PlantResponse Biotech S.L., focusing on enhancing plant immunity against various stressors. With a rich research history, Julio has delved into areas such as Rosaceae genetics and genomics, energy crops, and plant breeding tools development. His academic journey includes roles at CRAG, Virginia Tech, and Universidad de Alcalá, showcasing his dedication to advancing agricultural sciences and sustainable practices. Richard Corden Head of Solution and Services, Agricultural Solutions - BASF Head of Solutions and Services, Agricultural Solutions for the UK and Ireland focusing on digital agricultural products and services. Expert on Nitrogen management solutions having launched Limus and Vizura into the UK and Irish markets. Prior, he held various technical positions within BASF. Passionate about technology and agriculture to build scalable & sustainable solutions.
