and mind-blowing menu. With one of the best stocked lobster tanks in the village and a combination of mouthwatering traditional and innovative dishes, this is a truly French experience not to be missed! At Bistrot Caraibes the menu is straightforward, no quinoa, no kimchi, or locally sourced plantain, but what you will find are delectable dishes that can be found in France. Ah yes, France – the country that’s quietly been getting it right for centuries. As a result, Bistrot Caraibes’ signature dish is lobster thermidor, an indulgent blend of cream and cheese secret sauce.

Gastronomes who know their stuff will fully understand that chefs and owners Thibault and Amaury are at the top of their league when one hears the fact that they both worked for Paul Bocuse in Lyon straight out of school, followed up by working in the French Pavilion at the Epcot Center in Florida! Originally from Lille in the north of France, the Mézière brothers trained at culinary school in Belgium and came to the shores of St Martin to open Bistrot Caraibes in 1994. This restaurant has gone on to be one of Grand Case’s most popular with its contemporary décor

They also have great main dishes with sea bass, sea scallops, beef tenderloin, lamb chops, veal and more. In typical French style, every dish is lovingly prepared. To complete the experience, the moment anyone enters the restaurant, they can feel the warm welcome and will adore the fantastic service that the team have become renowned for. Bon appétit!
