Multi Packaging has also acquired i3 Plastic Cards, based in Dallas,Texas. Smurfit Kappa Acquires Saxon Packaging Smurfit Kappa UK, an integrated manufacturer of paper-based packaging products with operations throughout the UK, has acquired Saxon Packaging, based in Lowestoft, Norfolk.

Founded during 1971 in Lilburn, Georgia, Progress Container originally became an innovator in the in- dustry by being one of the first companies to have an in-house structural design department. Its new Winder, Georgia, facility opened in 2000. In addition, WestRock has donated an additional $50,000 to support the International Corrugated Packaging Foundation’s operations. WestRock employs 39,000 at more than 250 manu- facturing facilities, design centers, research labs, and sales offices around the world.
