Cooperative pilot study for Pacific cod tagging in the Aleutians Susanne McDermott | NOAA AFSC | $299,683 This is a collaborative project utilizing fishing industry expertise to develop methods for deploying mark-recapture and pop-up archival satellite tags (PSATS) in the Aleutian Islands to estimate Pacific cod movement patterns. Data from this pilot project will be used to better understand cod movement and ultimately lead to the design of a large scale tagging project.
