How Stem Cell Therapy Treats Hip Pain and Injury

Did you know stem cell therapy can be used to treat hip pain? Regenerative treatments like stem cell therapy and innovative platelet-rich plasma treat different kinds of musculoskeletal problems, as well as the underlying conditions that cause pain. HOW IT WORKS When it comes to stem cell therapy, we use your own stem cells derived from your body’s fat stores. Through this procedure, these highly-concentrated stem cells help repair, rebuild, and strengthen the damaged tissue. In this same-day procedure, stem cells are delivered directly to the injured area, which helps improve your body’s natural ability to heal itself. WHO IT’S FOR Stem cell hip therapy is a non-surgical alternative for patients who are considering elective surgery as the best treatment option to help alleviate hip pain and hip arthritis. The therapy is also an ideal alternative for those who are facing hip replacement surgery or have already had surgery, but still experience pain. It’s also an option for those who have chronic hip pain. HOW YOU BENEFIT Patients who undergo this type of therapy typically return to their normal daily activities after the procedure. They avoid the

painful and lengthy recovery periods that are usually required to restore mobility, strength, and range of motion after an invasive hip surgery. Additionally, patients are far less susceptible to risks that come with surgery, such as blood clots and infection.

If you suffer from any of the following hip conditions, stem cell therapy may be an option for you:

• Avascular necrosis • Complications from hip joint injury • Hip arthritis • Greater trochanteric bursitis • Hamstring strain • Iliolumbar ligaments • Ischial tuberosity bursitis • Osteoarthritis of the hip • Osteonecrosis of the femoral head • Labral tears • Sacroiliac joint dysfunction • Tendonitis • Piriformis syndrome

• Post-traumatic hip arthritis • Psoas tendinitis (snapping hip syndrome) • Quadriceps strain or partial rear • Symphysis pubis pain • Stem cell therapy for hip conditions • Stem cell treatment of hip pain
