• To communicate health and safety matters to ULAW Staff and to report health and safety issues or concerns to the Director of Estates and Campus Dean. • Manage health and safety actions generated from “WorkRite” e-learning programmes completed by staff based at campus ensuring that appropriate levels of confidentiality are maintained at all times. • To assist in health and safety induction for new staff. • To liaise with the Disability Team and individual students to provide agreed facilities and adjustments for students with disabilities including Personal Emergency Evacuation Plans (PEEPs) etc. Security • To provide first line, 24-hour call out to deal with any emergencies, including activation of intruder and fire alarms. • Ensure Security Assignment Instructions are regularly reviewed and updated and that the security team are fully briefed on any changes. Monitor the incidents log book, support the resolution of any issues arising and should the need arise alert, senior staff of an incident and if appropriate, the Police. Prepare and complete Incident Reports, and monthly reporting. • To liaise with external agencies such as police, local authorities and other security bodies with regard to measures that might be associated with PREVENT, anti-terrorism measures and/or crime prevention or detection.
