Youth Investment Fund - capital grant received for the replacement of the roof on the Cresset building. Respect - A 3 year project which supports young people to have an improved understanding of what makes a healthy relationship and what constitutes domestic violence.

21. SHARE CAPITAL

The directors are the only members of YMCA. The company is limited by guarantee, having no share capital and, in accordance with the Memorandum of Association every member is liable to contribute a sum of £1 in the event of the company being wound up.

In addition to supported housing accommodation numbers above, 33 units (2024: 33 units) for student accommodation and 26 units (2024: 26 units) for non-social housing were also owned and managed. Overall there was no volume change in social housing during the year.

In addition to the above, The YMCA's share of commitments entered into by the joint venture company, Kirkgate Street Limited, are £2,535 per annum (increased annually by CPI) for a term of 125 years ending in March 2147.
