IN-LINE MIXED FLOW DUCT FANS T he TD-EVO PF Ecowatt duct fans provided by global ventilation solutions leader S&P Ireland Ventilation Systems offer great benefits: easy installation and maintenance, high performance and energy efficiency for the Scoil an Athar Tadhg project. Constructed mostly from recycled plastics, the TD-EVO PF Ecowatt in-line mixed flow duct fans are designed for circular ducts, featuring an impeller and silent-block made of sturdy plastics for better performance. With seven diameters covering a range from 190 to 1780 m3/h, they suit various needs without disassembling nearby ducts. Refinements in the impeller, guide vane and outlet diffuser enhance performance and reduce noise levels. Double-injection sealing prevents air leaks, complemented by rubber gaskets for better airtightness.
EM Comfort Controls provided the building management system (BMS) and associated field-mounted control equipment for energy monitoring of the heating system within Scoil an Athar Tadhg Primary School.
A longtime partner of Murphy & Kelly, EM’s previous work with the mechanical services contractor has included BMS for schools, hospitals, primary care centres and various other buildings.
A silent-block minimises motor vibrations and noise, ensuring quieter operation even during speed changes, creating a calmer environment. Based in Blessington, Co Wicklow, the business offers a nationwide service specialising in the design and building of control panels, maintenance and service of all aspects of associated field-mounted BMS and sales of control equipment.
