SQUASH Welcome to Roman Tkachuk, our new Head Squash Professional here at Wilmington Country Club! With over 8 years of coaching experience, Roman joins us from Onwentsia Club in Illinois, where he was a Squash Professional since 2023. He moved from Ukraine in 2022 where he was a squash professional at Sportlife Squash Arena. Roman was a member of the Ukrainian National Team from 2019-2021 and an assistant coach in The Ukraine National Junior Academy since January 2017. Multiple winner of Ukrainian squash tournaments with a career high Ukrainian ranking of #4. He Graduated from the National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine in 2020 with a master's degree in management. He is a big believer that a combination of hard work, fun, and good coaching is the recipe for success. He will begin here at Wilmington Country Club on July 7, 2025. Emerging Squash Player Summer Camps Players in this group should be able to serve and return consistently as there will be peer drilling, condition games, and match play. In addition, this camp will help them gain experience for future tournament play. This will be a fun and competitive environment. Tournament and School Team Summer Squash Camps The camp is designed for the player looking to gain more experience for tournaments and/or school match play, and will consist of coaching, peer drilling, condition games and match play.
