Settled at the rear. 20/01/2021 Ladbrokes Park Lakeside Began awkwardly 15/01/2021 The Valley Over-raced in the early stages. Had to be steadied when over racing near the 800m. 14/01/2021 Sportsbet-Pakenham On leaving the gates was bumped. Held up for clear running from the 500 metres until the 100 metres. 06/01/2021 Ladbrokes Park Lakeside RR failed to run on when placed under pressure. When questioned regarding his tactics and the performance, explained he was instructed to settle in a midfield position with cover as the mare only possesses a relatively short sprint. When further questioned as to why he therefore improved his position from the 600m, explained his mount was travelling comfortably and due to the moderate tempo, he elected to commence a run. Acknowledged in hindsight the mare may be best saved for one final run in future. Trainer rep confirmed instructions. Vet no abnormalities. 11/12/2020 The Valley Held up for clear running approaching the home turn until the 200 where it was steadied.. 19/01/2021 Benalla Slow to begin. 13/01/2021 Caulfield Slow to begin. Raced four wide without cover in the middle stages.
