On Saturda y , March 8 th , the Wilf Campus Student Go v ernment and YU Libraries turned the Pollack Librar y into an adrenaline - fueled laser tag arena ! From 8 : 30 PM to 11 : 30 PM , students dodged , darted , and strategi z ed across floors 2 through 3 A of the Gottesman Librar y Building , transforming the space into a high - energ y battleground . While Pollack pulsed w ith e x citement , Gottesman Librar y ( 4 – 5 A ) remained a ha v en for focused stud y , ensuring that those hitting the books could do so undisturbed . The circulation desk on Pollack ’ s second floor also sta y ed open , making sure librar y essentials w ere still w ithin reach . Whether students w ere chasing v ictor y in the laser tag sho w do w n or di v ing deep into their studies , one thing w as clear — Saturda y night at the librar y w as an y thing but ordinar y !
