At the 220th Commencement ceremony in June 2014, 112 students received their diplomas, marking the end of an incredible year at Cheshire Academy. Entering the 2014-15 academic year, the Academy is thrilled to welcome new Head of School, John D. Nozell, who brings an impressive blend of management, financial, academic and leadership skills to the community during a particularly prosperous time. When Cheshire Academy opened its doors this fall, it welcomed students from nearly 35 countries and 20 states. Admission has never been stronger at the Academy, with success that can be attributed to the Academy’s student- centered philosophy, strong interest in the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Program, and Roxbury Academic Support Program. Many teachers already embraced the iPad, but the impact will now be felt in all classrooms. Two eighth graders participated in the Model UN Conference, both receiving honorable distinctions. Softball’s win marked the second year in a row earning the title. RAMAPO COLLEGE OF NEW JERSEY

Ramapo College of New Jersey is a public liberal arts college located in Mahwah, NJ – in the foothills of the Ramapo Mountains on the New Jersey/New York border. Established in 1969, Ramapo College grants bachelor’s degrees in the arts, business, humanities, social sciences and the sciences, as well as in professional studies, which include nursing and social work.
