Teachers at The Orchard School are nationally known for their expertise, high standards and curricular innovations including team teaching, meaningful integration of disciplines, infusion of technology, and hands-on, experiential learning. Educators who are passionate about their students and the experiential curriculum are hallmarks of an Orchard education. What distinguishes The Orchard School from other schools is that the students are at the forefront of every decision made. In addition to developing an inspiring curriculum, teachers focus on students as individuals. When students are truly engaged by teachers who have the time and interest to focus on each student and engage their intellectual and creative curiosity, learning is endlessly interesting! Active, engaged, hands-on learning inspires students, which maximizes potential. In addition to the enthusiasm in the classroom, families tell us their students come home from school excited by what they did that day.
