EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE
The Economic Development Association of New Jersey (EDANJ) was formed in 1953 to promote the State’s economy and to provide professionals in the field with the opportunity to exchange best practices and technical information. During the more than five decades that the Association has been in existence, that mission has stood the test of time while the level of sophistication and complexity in the fields of finance, governing, economic development, real estate, trade and environmental regulation have risen dramatically. All of these fields are represented in EDANJ’s membership and the interdisciplinary focus of all EDANJ events reflects the reality of economic development today in the Garden State.

During the first half of 2015, EDANJ partnered in the Northeast Sustainable Communities Workshop to share New Jersey’s success stories and learn from developers and other states and municipalities in the region. Our “Economics and Eggs” seminar on energy economics followed, attended by former Governor Jim Florio and other luminaries. EDANJ partnered on a site selection program with the Northeastern Economic Developers Association in Newark, NJ in the early summer. Participants at all of these events left with greater insights and often with valuable reference materials to use in their practices. October 13, 2015: EDANJ continues its tour of the twenty one Counties in New Jersey. Join us in Cumberland County and hear about the exciting developments in Vineland and the surrounding area. Vineland’s Redevelopment Director and the state representatives from the area will provide their insight in an informal setting. The event is hosted by the Law Offices of Gruccio Pepper, 817 East Landis Ave, Vineland, NJ 08362 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm. November 17, 2015: EDANJ holds its second networking event after the ses- sions at the League of Municipalities Conference in Atlantic City. Walk two blocks from the Atlantic City Convention Center to Los Amigos at 1926 Atlantic Avenue from 4:30 to 6:30 pm for a joint networking event of EDANJ, the Brownfield Coali- tion of the Northeast (BCONE) and the Licensed Site Remediation Professionals Association (LSRPA). December 4, 2015: EDANJ’s Annual Holiday Gathering and Awards Luncheon will be held at The Palace At Somerset, 333 Davidson Avenue Somerset, NJ 08873. EDANJ honors the New Jersey Foundation for the Blind for its programs to increase the independence and wellness of blind and vision impaired adults and the positive economic impact that their work contributes to the State of New Jersey. Registration for all fall events at https://www.edanj.com. While on the website, please join the Association at http://edanj.com/Pay-dues.asp. EDANJ is mindful of your budget and is offering a special membership for the balance 2015 and all of 2016 for $125, the price of an annual individual membership. EDANJ’s membership continues to be one of the best values for an established professional association. Three events are scheduled for the fall of 2015 and we encourage you to join us.:
