2021-2022 Cuttings Collection Syngenta Flowers Wholesale*
Dear customer
At the moment of writing the introduction of our new catalogue, most countries are in a lockdown. Streets are empty and many people are worried about their health, their jobs, or the wellbeing of their loved ones. I truly hope that, by the time you are reading this catalogue, your business has taken a turn for the better. We all have faced difficult moments, when markets were completely locked down and the joy of buying fresh flowers suddenly became inaccessible for consumers. Let’s all hope this will soon be an image of the past. Last year was a tough year in many markets, but now the time has come to find a new horizon. A world without flowers is a sad world. Flowers are not just a luxury product - they bring happiness and joy to billions of people every day. Especially so in times when physical contact has become restrictive, the merriment of flowers in the
garden has become even more valuable. And in these times with social distancing, there has been a renewed appreciation for walking in parks and public gardens. These gardens are beautified through your effort to bring our genetics to growers and consumers worldwide. Growers that nurture their plants and bring resilient, colourful, innovative flower products to the markets - for all to enjoy. Because our industry deserves it, it is important that we work together at our very best to overcome the challenges that face us. Together we will come out stronger - so join me in savouring the fruits of our labour, in every park or garden where beautiful flowers grow.
I wish you a very successful season!

At first I was critical, but it didn’t take long for me to become a true Calliope fan. Calliope is the most important crop of my spring season production. The variety has very vibrant and eye-catching colors. Strong plant habit, and heat and cold resistance are specifications of Calliope that are very important to us. It is an easy growing variety and fills the pots quickly. It is very suitable to produce pelargonium in different pot sizes and concepts. The final sales price is always higher than any other pelargonium genetics in the market, so this makes a good economical addition to us flower growers.

As a peltatum serie, Ivy league’s compact plant habit is a big plus when I compare with other peltatum series in the market. It has very good branching and many side shoots. We grow it without any PGR. It’s leaf colour is perfect and it is very ideal for hanging baskets. I’m sure that the strong plant habit and dark leaf type of Ivy League will offer a perfect garden performance in summer time. I predict that this serie will take a good market share in Turkish market in coming seasons.

Gülsu Flowers –Muhammet Karagünnü – Muğla / Beyobası, Turkey
This is our first season with production of Pelargonium Tango. I am happy to meet the Syngenta vegetative genetics, which are new for our market. This Tango variety has easy and strong root development on the plants. It’s leaf quality and leaf size are better than what I was used to. Tango has a good branching plant habit and fills the pot very quickly when I compare this with other deark leaf Pelargonium Zonale series.
Lalegül Peyzaj – Şükran Dilsiz – Bayındır / İzmir, Turkey
We switched back to Syngenta genetics last year and are very satisfied with it. Tango has a very strong plant habit in the dark leaf Pelargonium segment. The colours of Tango are very eye-catching. It is growing very compact and easy. This is one of the best series for warmer climate production.
