Sign up today Street Champion volunteers play an active role in taking pride in their community. They care about having a clean and safe place to live and if you think you fit the bill, we can help you to make your community spirit go even further. They get involved in all sorts of things – litter picking, looking after community gardens, reporting environmental issues via the My Telford app, supporting community events and campaigns or getting involved in environmental projects.

“Let’s champion community pride and empower street champions to spark positive change and across Telford and Wrekin’s neighbourhoods.” Councillor Raj Mehta Telford & Wrekin Council’s Cabinet Member for Inclusion, Engagement, Equalities & Civic Pride

Keeping it in the

Family street champions are another way to get involved with looking after where you live and we’re on the lookout for families to join in too. You can spare as much or as little time as you like getting involved with litter picks, environmental projects or community events– which will also give you valuable family time and fun together. Working together you can make your neighbourhood one to be proud of. Children under the age of 16 can sign up along with a parent/ guardian that agrees to take responsibility.
