It’s no wonder this generation is more switched on about mental health than any before them. But help is available to support young people in developing essential coping skills that may not come naturally to everyone. The Young People’s Forum – an action group made of 11-19-year-

If you would like to do help someone reach their full potential and help them live a happy, healthy life while doing something worthwhile for your community and earning an income, then Shared Lives could be the right move for you.

olds from across Telford and Wrekin has helped the council develop the Young Person’s Well-being scheme to improve well-being, through simple, small changes. Rae Anyidoho, a representative from the forum and the elected Member of Youth Parliament for Telford and Wrekin said: “Over the span of a year, the Young People’s Forum has been holding discussions around what young people in our borough believe to be the biggest issue, and what areas needed the most support. “Mental health was what came out on top. If you are a young person, I encourage you to sign-up to the campaign. It’s a chance to look after yourself and boost your mental well-being.”
