Abstract: In his analytical book on the invasion of Iraq in 2003, American historian Melvyn P. Leffler provides a detailed analysis of the circumstances surrounding the decision of the administration of President George W. Bush to invade Iraq in 2003, the resulting implications on both the domestic and global levels, and the bureaucratic friction between the relevant agencies in the National Security Council.
