HEALTH & FITNESS COMMITTEE We contacted Dr Jeralyn Brossfield to come speak at our resort for January but she did not return our calls. We have since found out that she was in transition from a position with Eisenhower Medical Center to opening her own Functional Medicine practice. Desert Health and our Committee are co-sponsoring another Health & Wellness Fair as we did last season. This season, it will be held on Saturday, February 17, from 9AM to 12PM to be held in the LP Clubhouse. Put this on your calendar so you don’t miss it. Safety in the Fitness Center is utmost so we would like to bring several items to your attention: 1. Please be sure to wear proper work out attire & gym shoes (no swimwear and no sandals or barefeet allowed). 2. Please do not bring in your old equipment to discard or leave for use when you come in. The equipment in the FC has been purchased with your safety in mind. For those of you that use the plate weights, please be sure to return the plates to their stands correctly. The correct way to store them is from lighter to heavier with the lighter being the first weight to be removed. P AM W ALKER Chair
