CLASS SIZE ON TEAMS Each on-team department has traditionally had 8 teachers (40 sections). Last year’s budget
reductions have impacted several areas of our operations: ● ELA offers 18 sections in grade 8 and 20 sections in grade 7 ● Math offers 20 sections in grade 8 and 20 sections in grade 7 ● Science offers 20 sections in grade 8 and 20 sections in grade 7 ● Social studies offers 17 sections in grade 8 and 20 sections in grade 7
● World Language offers 17 sections in grade 8 (Novice 2) and 16 sections in grade 7 (Novice 1) ○ As recent as 2022-2023, we offered 20 sections in grade 8 and 20 sections in grade 7
