  SELECTED FY25 ACCOMPLISHMENTS

● MTSS- A district goal is to develop and implement an aligned, districtwide PK-12 multi-tiered system of support (MTSS) for students in literacy, mathematics, social-emotional, and behavioral learning. At all schools, we are engaged in cycles of instruction and progress monitoring meetings as featured in the new dyslexia guidelines. At Blanchard, all K-6 classrooms have assessment windows 3x times a year (Dibels,iReady, IM Check for Readiness). Coaches support educators in all levels of tiered instruction and guide data-driven decisions by reviewing data, supporting student groupings, providing resources, and guiding instructional practices. Blanchard’s Instructional meetings and Progress Monitoring meetings are robust and utilize a protocol designed by the Instructional Leadership Team. Specialists have supported teachers in how to efficiently assess their students and have noted much success in the connections and insights gained. ● EL Curriculum - Blanchard staff have continued to deepen their understanding of our new ELA curriculum and adapt it to meet the needs of our students. Through district-wide professional learning and frequent data meetings, staff have had the opportunity to share learnings and best practices. ● Social-Emotional Learning-Blanchard staff have adopted and implemented the Second Step Program for the third year, while also integrating the bullying lessons this year as well. We have provided Tier 2 SEL support during our FLEX blocks and have used the DESSA screener this year as well.
