○​ Special Education Eligibility Process (child-find and determination/redetermination of eligibility) ○​ IEP Development and implementation ○​ Specialized Instruction and progress monitoring ○​ Special Education services at preschool, elementary, junior high, high school, and post high school levels ○​ Related Services including Speech, Occupational and Physical Therapy, Psychology, Board Certified Behavior Analysts, Assistive Technology, Vision, Deaf/Hard of Hearing and Orientation/Mobility Services, Contracted Consultation ○​ Specialized Programs PK-12 ○​ Out-of-district placements PK-22 ●​ Mental Health Leadership Team ○​ Counseling and Psychological Services ○​ Family and Community Outreach ●​ District-wide Special Education and Counseling Budgets ○​ Federal and State Grants application and management ○​ Specialized Transportation ○​ Circuit Breaker Reimbursement ○​ Medicaid Reimbursement ●​ District Contact for DESE ○​ Special Education Mediation/Hearings ○​ Program Resolution System ○​ Compliance and monitoring (Tiered-Focused Monitoring) ●​ Elementary Teaching and Learning Leadership Team ●​ Mental and Behavioral Health ○​ District-level organization of crisis preparedness, management, and response ○​ Facilitate partnerships with community-based mental and behavioral health providers contracted by the district (Cartwheel Care, Advocates, Assabet Valley Collaborative, Youth Risk Behavior Survey) ○​ Provide family and community educational opportunities
