Perceived susceptibility refers to the likelihood they assumed of themselves contracting the virus. It is important to note that various factors, such as their health condition, can generate different perceptions of susceptibility to the virus. In this survey, all respondents were asked to rate their likelihood of contracting the coronavirus from 1 to 6. 1 stands for very likely to contract the virus, 2 as likely, 3 as moderate, 4 as not likely, 5 as nearly impossible, and 6 as I don’t know. Overall, the median of the set of data is 3, meaning the general assumption of the possibility of contracting the coronavirus was moderate amongst the total of 241 respondents. The mode, which is the most common choice was ‘likely’ with 96 responses (39.8%), followed by ‘moderate’ with 63 responses (26.1%). Unvaccinated group also has a median of 3 (‘moderate’) likelihood of infection. Respondents in this group commonly thought they were ‘likely’ t o get infected (29.1%), though quite a lot of people chose ‘moderate’ (23.6%) and ‘not likely’ (22.7%) (p<0.05) as well. Compared to the vaccinated group, the vaccinated respondents expected a higher possibility of infection. The median was 2, which repres ents ‘likely’ , while the mode was also ‘likely’. 48.9% of the vaccinated respondents considered themselves ‘likely’ to contract the coronavirus (p<0.05). Similarly, the unvaccinated-and-acceptant subgroup, in which respondents (44.5%) rated the likelihood of infection as ‘likely’ , had a median of 2, ‘likely’. From the subgroup analysis in the unvaccinated group, it can be seen that the less they thought they were susceptible to infection of COVID-19, the less vaccine-acceptant they were. The median increases with vaccine acceptance. In the unvaccinated-and- hesitant subgroup, the median was 3, meaning ‘moderate’. 30.5% of them said their susceptibility to COVID- 19 were ‘moderate’ while another 30.5% chose ‘not likely’. The median suddenly made a huge jump from 3 in the unvaccinated-and-hesitant subgroup to 4.5 in the unvaccinated-and-resistant subgroup. 37.50% of the unvaccinated-and-resistant subgroup chose ‘5’, saying that it was ‘nearly impossible’ to contract COVID -19. Nevertheless, 33.33% of the subgroup
