Would a good society be an equal society?

but in reality, it doesn’t work. In the Communist Manifesto , Marx and Engels describe several key ideas for communism. These include no private property or property rights; no inheritance rights; a central bank; government-owned factories and agriculture; and the government is in charge of education and labour. The core principles of communism require a lack of religion which means that religious people living in a communist society would be persecuted. Another problem with communism is that the government has the final say for the society, which shows that even in a society founded upon equality, it still requires leadership to function as the government controls the industry, farms, and institutions, but that requires a superior authority that breaks equality. In an equal society, we end up with exhausted people earning the same incomes as people who barely lift a finger at work. This shows that even in an equal society, there has to be slight inequalities to make sure that the society is not reduced to anarchy. In conclusion, a good society cannot be a fully equal society as there will always be a difference in income for people working different jobs and different hours. Kindness, morality, and prosperity all promote equality in the society, but not entirely. Keeping a society functional requires reducing equality to maintain satisfaction. Therefore, a good society can be an equal society, but it can never be a fully equal society where everyone is treated exactly the same.
