Diplomatic immunity

– which can oversee conflicts arising from diplomatic immunity. This could provide a fair mechanism for diplomats to be stripped of their immunity for committing serious offences and abusing their power, while still protecting diplomats’ function. Diplomatic immunity is a cornerstone of healthy international relations, so to remove it would compromise our whole society. Therefore, modernizing diplomatic immunity to tackle ways in which it is abused is the only reasonable way forward.
