However, in these days of developed industry and technology, there are also other features such as electricity, sewage, and gas supplies that have now become a necessity in life, which have not been integrated into traditional Korean architecture. Clearly, the writer is not suggesting we should introduce historically accurate bodies of Hanok into modern cities. Instead, traditional Korean architecture can still provide modern architects with plenty of ideas for producing sustainability in modern vernacular architecture. Thus, the Hanok can be a traditional solution for modern problems.
