RANDOX’ S ROLE IN THE F IGHT AGAINST COVID-19
In early 2020, Randox recognised the threat from Covid-19 and, based on almost 40 years of diagnostic experience, quickly developed a test that would accurately identify the virus. Testing at scale commenced within weeks to support both the UK’s National Testing Programme and the needs of private clients. Through the enormous effort and dedicated commitment of all its staff, Randox now operates at a capacity of 500,000 Covid-19 samples per day, making it the most productive laboratory in the UK and Ireland and among the very largest in Europe.
