2018 NADOA SIE

The Nashville Scene Yes, we all know about the Grand Ole Opry and the country and blues music scene that Nashville has to offer, but did you know that there is so much more to do in Nashville? “What? Are you serious?” Yes, I am serious! Let’s take a look at just some of the things that Nashville has to offer not just you but your family and friends as well.

go to Martin’s Bar-B-Que. You can enjoy some great BBQ along with a beer garden and live music.

Now if you have been to Nashville and know what it has to offer and you just want to stick around the hotel, the Gaylord Opryland Resort will not disappoint and offers a myriad of activities and restaurants. This is a city within the hotel itself… it even has a river. Hungry? There are a wide range of places to choose from, 19 eateries to be exact. Choose from American, Japanese, Italian, steakhouses and more. Now that you are stuffed, you might want to work off all those calories by going to their fitness center which offers cardiovascular equipment, free weights and pools, but let’s be honest, you will want to do the pool just for fun. After working out, you are going to want to relax those muscles and what better place than the Relache Spa? As Division Order Analysts we put up with so much, so just take a break and pamper yourself; you deserve it. If you just want to shop, the Gaylord has you covered offering “some of Nashville’s finest shopping”. They also offer shuttle services to different locations such has Opry Mills Mall and the Wildhorse Saloon. If you want to come a little early or visit during the summer, I would recommend SummerFest at the Gaylord Opryland. With SummerFest, you experience pool parties, scavenger hunts, Jr. Chef Camp, dining events, live entertainment and much more. If you want more information, I recommend going online and researching at the Gaylord Opryland & Resort. I am excited to be back in Nashville and knowing that there is so much to do, I recommend bringing your family and/or friends for a little fun. Fly in a little early and or stay a little later - Nashville and the Gaylord Opryland Resort have great offerings of music, shopping, dining, and so much more. I cannot wait to see you there!

If you are willing to spend a little extra money when you are on your stay and want the full city experience, my recommendation would be the Old Town Trolley Tours with 15 great stops around Nashville. You have the Country Music Hall of Fame, Musicians Hall of Fame, Farmers’ Market, Johnny Cash Museum, and the list goes on. For more information, you can go to their website at https://www.trolleytours.com/nashville/. At the beginning of September you are looking at an average high temperature of 87 and low of 68, humidity at about 50%; how perfect is that? It is perfect enough to enjoy the great outdoors. Visit the Riverfront Park and Cumberland Park. If you are crazy about animals, check out the Nashville Zoo. Finally, just let the City of Nashville know you are a tourist and walk along Lower Broadway. Oh, and did I mention Jason Aldean will be playing at the Bridgestone Arena on September 7? Remember to get your tickets! Of course while you are going out and having fun you are bound to get hungry… and Nashville does not disappoint the food enthusiast in all of us. I am going to be biased and start off with my favorite… CHICKEN! If you love HOT food and chicken, then you want to go to Prince’s Hot Chicken. While it may look like a hole in the wall, this place is the “grandaddy of them all” according to Eater Nashville. But let’s face it, we are in Nashville and if you want to listen to some music while you eat, then Robert’s Western World is just for you. They do have some rules you might want to read up on if you are bringing your family, but a great place. Finally, who can resist BBQ? There are a lot of places to choose from so I stuck with what Eater Nashville recommends. If you want some great BBQ from an award-winning pit master, then you want to
