and pay for its own telephone hookup and use. Each Subcontractor shall arrange and pay for its own temporary electrical hook-up. The Owner will pay for electrical consumption during construction. Construction trailers shall be limited to a quantity and size approved by Leopardo. bb) Leopardo will provide temporary fencing with gates for required access and remove same at the completion of the Project. cc) The Subcontractors shall repair or replace fencing damaged as a result of its operation. Subcontractors shall remove and replace fencing and gates required to provide access for oversized items. dd) Subcontractor’s personnel are not allowed to work outside of the construc tion fence without permission of Leopardo. ee) Leopardo will provide and maintain temporary toilet facilities for the construction of the Project. All existing toilets inside the building are being demolished. ff) Each subcontractor is to provide drinking water for its own employees. Each Subcontractor shall be responsible to provide containers, paper cups, ice, hoses, etc. for its needs.
14. Trade Specific
a) Include the appropriate number of mobilization in order to comply with Leopardo schedule dated May 1, 2015. b) Provide subcontractors work as it relates to interior mock ups as specified in specification section 014339 of the contract documents. c) Include escalation as necessary to accommodate the project schedule (projected completion is late 2016). d) All work shall be performed in conformance with the above listed specifications and the following (wherever discrepancies occur, provide the greater quantity or quality of work as directed by the engineer of record). i. NECA ii. NEMA iii. Local Building Codes e) Subcontractor acknowledges that all work shown on the “E -xxx-xI ” or Electrical Interior series drawings will be included within this contract without exception. Subcontractor also acknowledges that all fire alarm work shown on the “E” or base building electrical series drawings will be included within this contract without exception. f) Subcontractor has included all protection of in-place electrical items including but not limited to conduit, wire, electrical panels, disconnect switches, owners supplied equipment and etc. g) Subcontractor shall include all firestopping of rated walls and floors as required to meet all codes and fire rated partitions ratings and as specified in the contract documents. h) Subcontractor has included furnishing and installing all water tight firestopping of slab penetrations at all floors. i) Subcontractor may be required to commence work prior to installation of slab-on-grade. Subcontractor shall provide all-terrain lifts and other equipment as needed to continue work as directed by Leopardo. j) Subcontractor has included all extended warranties and maintenance for all electrical equipment supplied, installed and used by this subcontractor, Leopardo or owner during construction. The warranty shall begin on the date of the Owner's final acceptance of the entire project. The warranty shall extend through the full term of the warranty period as required in the Contract Documents. Prior to turnover, permanent systems which have been utilized, must be refurbished to a "like new" state as required to maintain the manufacturer's warranties. k) Finish painting of subcontractor's work shall be the responsibility of the Painting subcontractor. However, all items furnished by subcontractor, which are scheduled to be finished painted by others, shall be furnished with a prime coat in accordance with applicable sections of the technical specifications.
