b) All areas that are to be finished with resilient tile shall be trimmed out and completed with a standard, 4’ high curved rubber base. c) All areas that are to be finished with carpet shall be trimmed out and completed with a standard, 4’ high straight rubber base. d) Provide anti-static properties in Server Room. 10.5. Hard Tile a) Any spaces identified in the Technical Criteria Matrix requiring Porcelain Tile flooring will be finished with nominal 12”x12” porcelain tile by Dal Tile® “Castle Devirre” or equal. b) Provide floor to ceiling 4”x4” porcelain tile on the wet walls of all restrooms. Wet walls are considered walls behind toilets, urinals and Bradley sinks, not restroom vanity areas. Hard tile to be a porcelain tile by Dal Tile “Castle Devirre” or equal. c) Provide beveled marble threshold at all toilet room entry doors. d) All toilet, lockers and shower area rooms will be finished with 2” x 2” thin set ceramic tile with a 4” high ceramic tile cove base. 10.6. Epoxy Floor Coating a) Concrete slab shall have cured at least 28 days before installation begins. b) Provide epoxy floor system throughout the Technical Center as indicated in the Technical Criteria Matrix. c) Epoxy floor coating shall be a ¼” thick solid color, Hybri-Flex EB (self leveling broadcast quartz) high performance epoxy/aliphatic urethane topcoat seamless flooring system as manufactured by Dur-A-Flex, Inc. d) Cure flooring material in compliance with manufacturer’s directions, taking care to prevent their contamination during stages of application and prior to completion of the curing process. e) Remove masking. Perform detail cleaning at floor termination, to leave cleanable surface for subsequent work of other sections. 10.7. Carpeting a) Provide carpeting in areas as identified in the Technical Criteria Matrix. b) Provide minimum of a 26 ounce commercial nylon carpet as manufactured by Shaw “Digital” or equal. c) Provide anti-static carpet properties in Controls & Electronics Lab. 10.8. Painting a) Interior masonry walls will receive one (1) coat of masonry block-filler and one (1) coat of masonry satin paint. b) Interior drywall surfaces are to be finished with one (1) application of primer and two (2) finish coats of latex flat paint. c) Hollow metal doors and exposed exterior miscellaneous steel items will be finish painted with two (2) coats of semi-gloss alkyd enamel paint over shop applied primer. d) Interior carpentry items that are not factory finished will be finished with one (1) coat of stain and two (2) finish applications of stain finish polyurethane. e) Exposed structural steel shall be field finish painted. High bay structural steel columns shall be painted with semi-gloss alkyd enamel paint over shop applied primer. Joist, beams and deck shall be painted with white acrylic flat finish Dry Fall paint.

11. MISCELLANEOUS SPECIALTIES 11.1. Toilet Partitions

a) Provide toilet partitions and urinal screens as required, each with a baked enamel finish similar or equal to those as manufactured by Bobrick.
