i. Provide all required Cat 6E cable drops for a combined data and communications network, Cat 6E patch cords, Cat 6E keystone terminations and stainless steel faceplates. ii. Provide two (2) CAT 6E wall drops per office (separate data boxes) iii. Provide two (2) CAT 6E wall drops in Lunchroom (separate data boxes) iv. Provide one (1) CAT 6E floor drops per workstation (laced into furniture) v. Provide two (2) CAT 6E wall drops per copier / plotter / printer location vi. Provide two (2) CAT 6E wall drops per conference room (separate data boxes) vii. Provide one to two (1-2) CAT 6E floor drops per conference room (depending on floor boxes required based on room size / conference table length) viii. Provide one (1) CAT 6E floor drops at reception desk ix. Provide two (2) CAT 6E wall drops per Dynamometer test cell (separate data boxes) x. Provide one (1) CAT 6E wall drop per Dynamometer Control area AND Test Equipment area adjacent to dynamometer (separate data boxes).
xi. Provide one (1) CAT 6E wall drop in Vehicle Workshop xii. Provide one (1) CAT 6E wall drop in Pre-Rig Station
xiii. Provide two (2) CAT 6E wall drops in Server Room (separate data boxes) xiv. Provide two (2) CAT 6E wall drops in Controls and Electronics Lab (separate data boxes) xv. Provide one (1) CAT 6E wall drops in each of the following rooms (separate data boxes): Particulate Weigh Room, Gas Instrumentation Room, Gas Bottle Storage Room, Machine Shop, Shipping / Receiving, Shipping Office b) Provide low voltage accessories and terminations as follows: i. Provide CAT 6E 48-port patch panels as required to provide future 20% expansion capability. ii. Provide 24 inch Ladder rack and cable management. iii. Provide all required CAT 6E patch cords. iv. Provide J-Pro™ Cable Management Support System for high performance cabling as manufactured by Panduit®. v. Supply and install and connect fiber runs including all rack mounting equipment. vi. Provide all terminations labeled, tested and certified according to BICSI standards. 16.6. Controls / Alarms Wiring a) Provide DX Cooling & DDC (Direct Digital Control) wiring, input & output sensors, equipment controls and software to control the building HVAC systems to maintain a set ambient temperature, static pressure, and indoor air quality and energy management. b) Integrate dedicated HVAC system in Server room into the DDC system. c) Provide design & engineering, connections to temperature and pressure sensors, operating valves and pumps to control the flow, temperatures and pressures of the cooling tower(s) and other process related equipment. d) Provide fire alarm system including a standard fire alarm system that meets the required governing codes including duct detectors, fire protection flow & tamper switches, heat/smoke detectors (if required by code or municipal requirements), horn/strobes (if required by code or municipal requirements), pull stations (if required by code or municipal requirements) and annunciator panel(s). e) Provide building intrusion alarm system including a sufficient quantity of motion sensors and door contacts to secure the building perimeter from outside access. f) Provide building access control system including card access locations including magnetic strip cards, programmable system and electronic strikes. g) Provide a life safety fire alarm system including necessary wiring, pull stations, horns / strobes, etc., as may be required by code and municipal requirements for Certificate of Occupancy.
