ZZ. Priced claims and/or Change Order Requests shall be timely submitted to the General Contractor within (10) ten working days after being requested. Failure to submit pricing within (10) ten working days shall preclude the Subcontractor from receiving any additional compensation and/or time and they will be required to perform said work the same as if they were being compensated. When a change to the subcontractor has been approved that is not ordered by the owner and therefore the General Contractor can not seek recovery from the Owner, the Subcontractor agrees to limit their mark ups to 5% overhead and 0% for fee.
OO. Subcontractor agrees that for all equipment/material utilized during the course of construction, the Subcontractor shall provide additional warranty extensions and maintenance as required so as to provide the Owner with the specified warranty period commencing at the Final completion date of the project. The items include, but are not limited to the following: sump pumps, lift stations, boilers, compressors, fans, controllers, switchboards, light fixtures, pumps, elevators, HVAC equipment, etc. PP. Furnish all embedded-type inserts required for the Subcontractor’s work to the Concrete Subcontractor hereinafter referred to as CS. In addition, provide the CS an approved, detailed setting plan of these inserts so that they may be properly placed and incorporated into the concrete pour at each floor slab/wall. Subcontractor is to assist the CS in the layout of the embeds and verify their locations prior to and during the pour of each floor slab/wall. In the event the embeds are not in their proper location, the subcontractor is to relocate them accordingly at his own expense with out an extension of time. The Subcontractor must submit the detailed setting plan with ample time for review by the General Contractor, Architect and Engineer. QQ. Subcontractor agrees to test their equipment/installed work as necessary so as not to impede the schedule or unduly burden the General Contractor with added costs for temporary heating etc. Subcontractor agrees to perform its testing as often as required at no additional cost to the General Contractor. RR. Costs for repair of damage to cast in concrete members, and especially to post-tensioning tendons and anchors, that are damaged as a result of this Subcontractor, all of the repair and retrofit costs shall be borne by this Subcontractor. SS. During the punchlist phase of work, Subcontractor shall provide a staff, sufficient in size exclusively dedicated to the conduct of the punchlist work, completely under the General Contractor’s direction. This staff shall not participate nor share responsibility for the phases of Subcontractor’s work being performed concurrently with the punchlist work phase. TT. Subcontractor is aware and acknowledges that the concrete structure as well as the floor slabs are going to be built in accordance with ACI Tolerances as clearly defined in Division three (3) of the Project Specifications. In the event this Subcontractor’s industry tolerances are more stringent than those contained in the ACI Tolerances, Subcontractor is to latex, patch, etc. the concrete substrate to bridge the tolerance variation at no cost to the General Contractor. UU. Subcontractors furnishing embeds to other sub-trades for insertion by them, are responsible for having the embed items reviewed, inventoried and accepted by the sub-trade responsible for their installation. This is to be evidenced by a signed detailed inventory list. Failure to obtain the signature of transfer of materials will result in the subcontractor having to replace said missing items at their own expense with out an extension of time. VV. All warranty work, punchlist work and any other work completed after Owner occupancy shall be performed by the Subcontractor during off-hours or as scheduled by the General Contractor’s Superintendent at no additional cost to the General Contractor. All punchlist work is to be completed prior to the contract final completion date. Failure to do so will result in liquidated damage’s being assessed. WW. In the event a Subcontractors field extra work order is required as a result of unforeseen conditions, the item necessitating the work order must be priced out and submitted to LCI within 48 hours for approval. Failure to provide pricing within the 48 hour time period will result in forfeiture of Subcontractor’s right to payment. XX. Subcontractor shall not submit an extra work claim for any items/activities that are indicated within the contract documents or are reasonably inferred therein. If an extra work ticket is submitted and it is determined by the General Contractor, Ownership and/or their consultants that this work is already included as part of the Subcontractors scope of work, the Subcontractor shall be responsible for reimbursing the General Contractor/Owner the value of the extra work ticket plus a fee of 15% to cover the General Contractors time in researching and defending the item.

OWNER EQUIPMENT COORDINATION
A. The Owner Furnished and Contractor Installed (OF/CI) equipment as listed in the [INSERT Equipment Schedule/Individual Subcontractor's Work scopes found in Section 00220 OR DESIGNATED LOCATION] shows the Subcontractor responsible to schedule delivery, receive the equipment and accessories F.O.B. jobsite, inspect, protect, store, handle and move into position, provide all coordination with applicable trades for rough-in requirements and final connections, marshal the appropriate trades as a composite installation crew, and assist in initial startup.
B. Refer to the Drawings and the [INSERT Equipment Schedule OR DESIGNATED LOCATION] to determine quantities.
C. [VERIFY WITH OWNER - Each piece of equipment provided by the Owner will include a cut sheet, reference information or drawing, indicating the specific rough-in, backing, sized and final connection information for use by the Subcontractors. Furthermore, the Owner will arrange with its vendor/manufacturer of new equipment to have the piece of equipment delivered F.O.B. to the loading dock site, clearly marked, identifying the item, room number(s) where installed, complete itemized bill of shipped material and indicating which Subcontractor, by category number, it is to be received by.
