CONTENT OF MANUAL
C. Submit copies of completed operation and maintenance manuals at least two (2) weeks before execution and have at hand for use in demonstrations and instructions.
A. Neatly typewritten table of contents for each volume, arranged in systematic order.
D. Submit specified number of copies of approved data in final form to the Leopardo Companies Inc. ten (10) days after final inspection or acceptance.
1. Subcontractor, name of responsible principal, address and telephone number. 2. A list of each product required to be included, indexed to content of the volume. 3. List with each product, name, address and telephone number of: a. Subcontractor or installer. b. Maintenance contractor, as appropriate. c. Identify area of responsibility of each. d. Local source of supply for parts and replacement. 4. Identify each product by product name and other identifying symbols as set forth in Contract Documents.
PART 2 - PRODUCTS
2.01
MANUAL FOR MATERIALS AND FINISHES
A. Submit [INSERT TWO (2) OR APPROPRIATE NUMBER] copies of complete manual in final form.
B. Content, for architectural products, applied materials and finishes:

1. Manufacturer's data, giving full information on products. a. Catalog number, size, and composition. b. Color and texture designations. c. 2. Instructions for care, maintenance and preventative maintenance. a. Manufacturer's recommendation for types of cleaning agents and methods. b. Cautions against cleaning agents and methods which are detrimental to product. c. Recommended schedule for cleaning and maintenance. Information required for reordering special-manufactured products.
1. Include only those sheets which are pertinent to the specific product. 2. Annotate each sheet to: a. Clearly identify specific product or part installed. b. Clearly identify data applicable to installation. c. Delete references to inapplicable information.

1. Supplement product data with drawings as necessary to clearly illustrate: a. Relations of component parts or equipment and systems. b. Control and flow diagrams. 2. Coordinate drawings with information in Project Record Documents to assure correct illustration of completed installation. 3. Subcontractor may use Project Record Documents as maintenance drawings - coordinate with Leopardo Companies Inc..

MANUAL FOR EQUIPMENT AND SYSTEMS
1. Organize in consistent format under separate headings for different procedures. 2. Provide logical sequence of instructions for each procedure.

E. Copy of each warranty, bond and service contract issued.
B. Content, for each unit of equipment and system, as appropriate:
1. Provide information sheet for Owner's personnel, give: a. Proper procedures in event of failure. b.

Complete nomenclature and commercial number of replaceable parts. 2. Operating procedures: a. Start-up, break-in, routine and normal operating instructions. b. Maintenance and Preventative Maintenance Procedures: a. Routine operations. b. Guide to "trouble-shooting". c. Disassembly, repair and re-assemble. d. Alignment, adjusting and checking. 4. Servicing and lubrication schedule. a. List of lubricants required.

MANUAL REVIEW AND PREPARATION SCHEDULE
A. Submit two copies of preliminary draft of proposed formats and outlines of contents to Leopardo Companies Inc. prior to start of preparation.
1. Architect will review draft and return one copy with comments.
B. Submit [INSERT TWO (2) OR APPROPRIATE NUMBER] copy of completed data in final form to the Leopardo Companies Inc. at least [INSERT NUMBER] months before the end of the project, for Owner review.
1. Copy will be returned after final inspection or acceptance, with comments.

C. Disclaimers and Limitations: Manufacturer's disclaimers and limitations on product warranties do not relieve the Subcontractor of the warranty on the Work that incorporates the products. Manufacturer's disclaimers and limitations on product warranties do not relieve suppliers, manufacturers, and subcontractors required to countersign special warranties with the Subcontractor.
1.03
DEFINITIONS
A. Standard Product Warranties are preprinted written warranties published by individual manufacturers for particular products and are specifically endorsed by manufacturer to Owner.
B. Special Warranties are written warranties required by or incorporated in the Contract Documents, either to extend time limits provided by standard warranties or to provide greater rights for the Owner.

1.04
WARRANTY REQUIREMENTS
A. Deliver all written warranties and guarantees required by the Contract Documents with the Owner and Leopardo Companies Inc. named as beneficiaries. All warranties shall include labor and materials, shall be signed by the manufacturer or subcontractor as the case may be, and countersigned by the Subcontractor. All written warranties shall be addressed to the Owner and delivered to Leopardo Companies Inc. upon completion of the Project, before or with the submission of Request for Final Payment. B. In addition to all other warranties set forth in the Contract Documents or imposed by applicable law, Subcontractor warrants to Owner and Leopardo Companies Inc. that the Work will be free from defects and performed in strict conformity with the requirements of the Contract Documents. This warranty survives the termination of the Agreement and shall only be extinguished by limitation periods imposed by applicable law and shall not be limited by any other provisions contained in the Agreement, including any provisions or time periods related to Subcontractor’s obligation to correct defective Work.
