Special educational needs and medical needs

At the Federaton of Abbey Infant and Junior School, we welcome everybody into our community. The staf, governors, pupils and parents work together to make Abbey a happy, welcoming place where children and adults can achieve to their full potental and develop as confdent individuals. This means that equality of opportunity must be a reality for all our children. We make this a reality through the atenton we pay to the diferent groups of children within our school family, providing a learning environment that enables all pupils to make the greatest possible progress and achieve to their full potental in a caring, supportve and fully inclusive environment. Our special educaton needs and disabilites (SEND) provision allows pupils with barriers to their learning, the opportunity to follow a curriculum specifcally tailored to develop life skills and to give pupils self-confdence through their learning, enabling them to maximise their potental and to work independently.
