DIAGNOSTICS Essential Skills for Sensor and Actuator Diagnosis 2/15/20, 1:30 - 4:30 p.m. Class #235, DeVos River Overlook E The check engine light is on and you’re following a diagnostic flow chart with a series of yes or no questions. At some point in the process, it rec- ommends replacing a part or repairing a circuit. Are you 100% confident the flow chart has point- ed you in the right direction? How many of you have followed the diagnostic process only to find the part or repair did not fix the problem? This seminar will provide a solid diagnostic valida- tion process, with a specific focus on common sensors and actuators. This will ensure proper vehicle diagnosis the first time. This seminar is an excellent follow-up to Bosch Essential Skills for Electrical Diagnostics. What we’ll cover: • Electrical circuit analysis for common sensors and actuators • Learn how to create a baseline for circuit diagnosis and validation • Develop a diagnostic plan after researching • Learn how to get the most out of your diagnostic tools NEW

EURO Evaporative Emission Diagnostics Seminar 2/15/20, 1:30 - 4:30 p.m. Class #234, DeVos River Overlook D

European vehicles are equipped with a variety of EVAP system designs and include some of the more difficult-to-understand components. Depending on the year, make, and model of vehicle, BMWmight use an electrically operated pressure pump, a vacuum controlled leak detec- tion pump, or a natural vacuum leak detection device. This seminar will enable you to properly identify, understand, and diagnose the most common European EVAP systems. We will also show you how the information learned can be applied in your shop immediately. What we’ll cover: • Diagnosis Module Tank Leakage (DM-TL) • Natural Vacuum Leak Detection Systems • Leak Detection Pump Systems (LDP) • Tips and strategies for each system Presented By: Bosch Speaker: Robert Esterbrook
