Checking VFD Fault History:

Power up the VFD and the display should have a number between F00.00 and F60.00

Press the down arrow several times until the display reads out a backwards 7 forwards 7 and lowercase on which stand for “Mon”

Press the enter button and the display will change to U1-01

Use the > button to move to the U1 then use the up arrow to change the display to read U3-01

Press the enter button and the 01 will begin to flash. Press the enter button again and the drive will display the most recent fault. Make note of the fault, then check the V1000 manual for solutions.

Possible Solution

Confirm proper incoming voltage on top of LC1 contactor between terminals L1 and Neutral Block With light switch turned on, check for voltage on terminal T1 of LC1 contactor. If voltage is present, check wiring to light fixtures. With light switch turned on, check for proper voltage on contactor between terminals A1 and A2

Lights do not turn on

Symptom

Possible Solution

Incorrect voltage applied between terminal A1 and A2 on contactor coil. Use volt meter to confirm the voltage between terminals A1 & A2 matches what is printed on the coil. Debris has accumulated on the inside of the contactor. Try gently tapping on the side of the contactor while turning it on and off. Disconnect power then disassemble contactor and clean coil/iron core area. If problem persists, replace contactor.

Light contactor makes buzzing noise when lights are on.
