We are doing a new thing … Mid-Year Reception Intake! In 2024, we will be offering a second transition point into school in a stand-alone class. This will provide two transition points into school as children turn five. We are committed to providing a holistic education that creates a safe environment and nurtures children as they learn through play, grow socially, and develop their love of learning. Our Mid-Year Reception intake program is no exception, with a focus on setting the foundations for your child to thrive in the first years of learning. This distinctive independent 6-month journey offers a comprehensive play-based program using the Australian Curriculum Framework and The Early Years Learning Framework to form the foundation for future learning. We develop a culture of active and engaged learning through providing the children with experiences in inquiry and play-based learning to investigate and explore the world around them, nurturing their ability to think creatively and flexibly, problem solve, build oral language skills and develop a positive attitude towards life-long learning. We invite families to join us on this exciting new journey, where your child can experience a warm and welcoming beginning at TVCS in Becoming Reception. Our Mid-Year Reception Program provides children who turn five between May 1 and Oct 31 the opportunity to begin school at the start of Term 3, 2024.
