How to create your personal development plan
Step 1 Work through the Self-Awareness behaviour ratings/descriptions as to where you see yourself from 1-4. The document guides you to total these and divided by 4 – giving you an overall rating for Self-Awareness. Step 2 As above for Awareness of Others Step 3 As above for Organisational Awareness
Step 4 Transfer your divided rating into the reflection area… (there is guidance/ an example to support this activity) Step 5 Move on to creating your PDP... (there is guidance/an example to support you with this)
Top tips The behaviours are for ALL colleagues of Anchor no matter the part you play , so think about your daily tasks and how you carry them out, how you interact and communicate with your residents and colleagues. Enjoy discovering where you can make even more of a difference. While this is your own work and will be shared with your line manager it is entirely up to you who else you share it with, we would encourage you to involve anyone who you think can help you with your development - your colleagues, line manager, and own team or a mentor.
