What kind of care do I need? West Hall offers the following types of care for older people depending on the home: • Residential care • Dementia care and other mental health needs • Respite care (short stay). All our homes offer 24-hour personal and practical support - such as help with dressing and bathing.
All our residential homes offer a warm, safe and friendly environment with facilities to make you feel at home in our care. They are spacious, well maintained and can even welcome some pets (at the Home Manager’s discretion). You can expect comfortable, self-contained rooms, most with en suite facilities. The buildings, colleagues and policies that govern our work all meet levels of quality that are amongst the highest in the country and all of our homes are regulated by the Care Quality Commission (CQC). To reinforce our own high standards, we have our own internal audit programme that monitors the quality of service offered to residents, as well as ensuring each home is safe and secure.
