After a great start to the race and battling their way up to third posi- tion in the Pro-Am class, the team was midway through the race when an unfortunate incident forced them to retire the car. Earl Bamber, a driv- er himself and the cofounder with his racing brother of Earl Bamber Motorsport, explains: “We were in third place, and it looked like we could secure the spot. Unfortunate- ly, we had contact with a GT4-class competitor, which damaged our car too much to be able to repair. This led us to retiring the car. Despite that outcome, I am really proud of the whole team and the drivers.” As a newcomer to the EBM team, Jeff Kingsley experienced a lot of firsts over the weekend. “I was happy to be driving a Porsche again,” he says, “but limited track time added to the

challenge of running my first laps at Indianapolis Motor Speedway, as did my first time on [that specific kind of] Pirelli tire. But, I had an amazing weekend with EBM, re- gardless of the end result. The entire crew was professional, diligent and made me feel at home during my weekend with the team.” Kingsley also expressed how, with the team’s momentum building throughout the race, a good result was looking promising. “Considering that we started the race 42nd and were up 16th overall and third in [our] class after the fifth hour, we certainly have lots to be proud of. I truly believe we would have been on the winners’ podium. It is my hope that I can race with Earl Bamber Mo- torsport again and finish what we started.”

"I was thrilled to be back in a race- car, even better in a Porsche 911 GT3 R," says Nick Boulle. "Like many in the sport, COVID changed my sponsorship model, but racing the Brickyard was a dream come true for me. We had a very strong squad, and some very bad luck. It is tough when you don’t bring home a win, but I am stoked for the next race, maybe Florida!” With 2022 roaring up, we hope for continued success in racing. de Boul- le Motorsports is looking forward to sharing its well-known passion for racing and the latest high-perfor- mance machines — whether they are on racetracks or wrists.
