DR ABED ESOL ENTRY LEVEL 2 & 3
Dr Abed, a renowned author and former lecturer from Jordan University, arrived in the UK in from Syria in 2023. With a doctorate in Islamic Economics, his dream is to teach here in the UK. Enrolling on an ESOL course at Preston College, Dr Abed has improved his English skills and his confidence to go on and fulfil his ambition in the future. “My time at Preston College has been fantastic and the support my family received to help us settle in has been incredible! Plus, the talent of the tutors and their expressive teaching styles, has really helped me to understand concepts and reach my full potential.”

HEDI ESOL TUTOR
Hedi began her educational career as a qualified primary school teacher in Serbia. After moving to the UK, she was determined to continue her passion for teaching and enrolled in the ESOL Functional Skills Level 2 course. She then advanced to a TESOL qualification, enabling her to teach in the UK. Now, Hedi teaches ESOL at Preston College, where she finds joy in supporting her students’ growth and helping them achieve their goals. “I love teaching at Preston College. You feel appreciated and welcome, which I bring into my own teaching of ESOL students,”
