Will provide the same warranty for substitution as for specified Product. Will coordinate installation and make other changes which may be required for Work to be complete in all respects. Waives claims for additional costs which may subsequently become apparent.

D. Substitutions will not be considered when they are indicated or implied on Shop Drawing or Product Data submittals without separate written request, or when acceptance will require substantial revision or Contract Documents. E. Owner will determine acceptability of proposed substitution, and will notify Contractor of acceptance or rejection in writing within a reasonable time. F. Substitutions made without Owner ’s a uthorization will be removed and replaced to the original specifications at the Contracto r’s expense.

PART 2 PRODUCTS

2.1

PENNSYLVANIA STEEL PRODUCTS PROCUREMENT ACT A.

Contractor acknowledges that CCAC is a public agency subject to the requirements of the Pennsylvania Steel Products Procurement Act, 73 P.S. Section 1881 et. Seq (the “SP P A” ). Contractor therefore represents and warrants that any and all steel products purchased, used or supplied by it in the performance of the Contract will be melted and manufactured in the United States, and that its performance hereunder will otherwise comply with requirements of the SPPA at all times. Contractor further agrees to provide CCAC with documentation and/or certification of its compliance with the foregoing requirements, as required under the SPPA, and acknowledges that it shall not be entitled to receive payment hereunder until such documentation and/or certification has been provided.
