PARTIAL SCOPE
A. This partial scope is intended to provide general project highlights – this partial scope is not comprehensive nor all inclusive. This contractor must visit the building and observe existing conditions – this contractor shall document and make owner aware of any condition which may affect his/her work. Failure to document and submit in writing to owner any condition which may affect contractors work does not excuse contractor from completing this installation. This contractor must review the entire document set prior to submitting his/ her bid. Contractor shall observe and verify all raceway routing prior to submitting bid including basement and all risers. B. Contractor shall maintain owner security camera system during installation of new systems including but not limited to: 1. Cameras. 2. Copper CAT 6 type of cable. 3. Support equipment for cameras such as anchors and threaded support elements. 4. Support equipment for communications cables such as J-Hooks (generally communications cables under this contract are associated with cameras and emergency phones). These supports are further described in this document set. 5. Conduits and surface raceway for exposed camera locations (such as basements; stairwells and exterior mounts). 6. CAT 6 patch panels. 7. Fiber optic cable and accessories such as termination boxes; strain relief and similar accessories. 8. Polymer concrete handholes and excavation for handholes. 9. UPS power distribution for selected devices.
