1.19 SEQUENCING, SCHEDULING AND COORDINATION A.

Coordinate arrangement, mounting, and support of electrical equipment: 1. To allow maximum possible headroom unless specific mounting heights that reduce headroom are indicated. 2. To provide for ease of disconnecting the equipment with minimum interference to other installations. 3. To allow right of way for piping and conduit installed at required slope. 4. So connecting raceways, cables, wireways, cable trays, and busways will be clear of obstructions and of the working and access space of other equipment. B. Coordinate installation of required supporting devices and set sleeves in cast-in-place concrete, masonry walls, and other structural components as they are constructed. C. Coordinate location of access panels and doors for electrical items that are behind finished surfaces or otherwise concealed. D. Coordinate sleeve selection and application with selection and application of fire stopping. All fire stopping shall be a U.L. approved system. E. Arrange selective demolition so as not to interfere with Owner's on site operations. F. Coordinate electrical equipment installation with other building components. G. Arrange for chases, slots, and openings in building structure during progress of construction to allow for electrical installations. H. Sequence, coordinate, and integrate installing electrical materials and equipment for efficient flow of the Work. Coordinate installing large equipment requiring positioning prior to closing in the building. I. Coordinate connecting electrical service to components furnished under other Sections. J. Notify the Engineer at least 5 days prior to commencing demolition operations. K. Perform selective demolition in phases – coordinate with owner.

CONCRETE BASES

A. Concrete Forms and Reinforcement Materials: Provide bases for all equipment furnished under this contract. B. Concrete: 4000-psi, 28-day compressive strength.
