Roman Nowak, coordinator for the local event, is more than pleased with the number of people who showed up ready to walk, run and cycle the route. “It was a great turnout,” he said. “We near- ly doubled last year’s numbers.” Preliminary estimate is more than $3500 was raised in Rockland for cancer research from the local Fox Run. Pledges are still coming in and a final tally won’t be ready until later in the month. «We’re getting stronger every year,” said Nowak. “That’s our goal.”
