NET ZERO OVERVIEW Our path to Net Zero isn’t just a plan, it’s a promise to our planet, our people, and our partners. GAP is committed to achieving Net Zero in our operations by 2040 (Scope 1 and 2) and Net Zero across our supply chain (Scope 3) by 2050, however, will continue to work towards the ambition of reaching this in 2040. We are actively developing our Net Zero Roadmap in collaboration with third parties to deliver our strategies for reducing emissions.

Key Areas include:

GAP Vehicles:

GAP Hire Fleet:

Collaborating with suppliers to gather product emission data for informed purchasing decisions and moving towards a zero-carbon fleet with sustained demand for zero/ low- carbon emissions alternatives.

Transitioning towards a zero- carbon vehicle fleet through vehicle efficiency improvements, electrification, biofuels and hydrogen, as technology develops, and market conditions become feasible.

GAP Buildings and Facilities:

Move to only purchase 100% renewable electricity (we are currently at 95%) and to invest in technologies and measures across our buildings and operations to reduce energy and water consumption such as installing low carbon heating systems in new depots and aiming for decarbonised heating across all facilities.

GAP is committed to achieving Net Zero in our operations by 2040. “
