Dear Cattleman, It is an honor to once again be involved in the marketing of the Lonely Valley Seedstock genetics. This year the Settje Family will celebrate their 43rd year propagat- ing Limousin genetics. This February sale is their 33rd consecutive bull sale which makes it one of the longest running family seedstock sales in the Limousin breed. The Settje name is well thought of throughout the cattle industry as both Dean and Chad have served as past North American Limousin Foundation Presidents and are very much involved in the cattle feeding industry. The family cattle operation started with Stan Settje and his sons acquiring a few purebred Limousin genetics and incorpo- rating into their commercial cattle program. As time went on they quickly realized
growing it into a Limousin seedstock operation was the right path moving forward. The program grew to one that could easily sustain a 70 - 90 head bull sale every year. Under the LVLS umbrella are Limousin, Lim-Flex, Angus and Red Angus genetics. Their integrity and level headed approach to customer service has kept them going strong for 43 years as a serv- ice oriented business. Please join the Settje Family and all of the marketing team as we know you are sure to be impressed with the strong sale offering. If we can be of assistance, be sure and let us know and we thank you for your continued interest in the “LVLS” brand. Sincerely, Randall O. Ratliff R & R Marketing Company
